Joe’s program has been life changing for hundreds of people who have followed his advice to succeed in hyper competitive real estate industry

1.Can you tell us about your background and how you became so successful in what you do?

Absolutely, my name is Joe Arias, I am an expert in flipping, me and my partners have flipped over 100 properties in the past 10 years and we also do rentals.

I am originally from Argentina, I moved to America when I was 19, and I went to school on a scholarship in St. Louis, Missouri. When I graduated, I took some time to think about my two passions: real estate and directing films. And I decided that California was the place to do both of those. So I drove to drive to Los Angeles to start working on what I was passionate about.

I gave myself 10 years. I promised myself that if in 10 years I was not happy with what I accomplished in my film career, I would change careers and get into real estate

So for 10 years in LA, I was a wedding photographer and filmmaker. And even though I loved the arts, I found myself stuck in the rat race. It was there when I decided that I wanted to be in control of my life and started educating myself in real estate investments.

As of today, I’ve been flipping houses for over 10 years. Within that decade, my partners and I have flipped over 100 properties. I started investing with a passive income property, and soon after I switched strategies and focused on flipping houses. About a year into flipping I found myself working on 9 properties at the same time. Now, at that point, I didn’t have the right systems or coaching to find big success in what I was doing and that was when I thought it would be really powerful to create a systemized approach to real estate investing.

I believe that with the right systems and the right coaching, everyone can find true success in real estate investing. For the past several years, my team and I have poured our souls into perfecting these very systems and providing mentorship and leadership to our students.

The reason I have been so successful is that I failed enough times to know how to do it right. And it is my passion to help others what I know so they can be set up for success in real estate investing without having to jump over the same hurdles I did when I was first starting out.

2. Why did you choose the Real Estate education business?

There are two things I am deeply passionate about. One is real estate, the other is connecting with people and helping them be successful in real estate investments. Of course, we all have bills to pay and there’s always a cost for doing things, but besides that, after flipping lots of houses I realized that there were mistakes that I made along the way that could have been easily avoided that cost me tens of thousands of dollars. I have created the most powerful platform in the market called RealSuccess to help people avoid the mistakes that I made and more importantly, to help them achieve their own financial goals. Money is great, but I discovered that in our pursuit of happiness, money is never the goal but a means that can facilitate the goal. In other words, you can’t put a monetary value on certain emotions that we, as humans, are chasing. Being able to have financial peace of mind, or the ability to retire and start flipping houses with your grandchildren is something so many people are searching for. It could be that the mom who is working more than one job just to put food on the table for her children, is now investing in real estate and has more time to spend it with her family. It could even be that the hard worker who has a 9 to 5 job wants to transition into finding another passion like getting into passive income.

I believe happiness lies in this pursuit, when we have a passion, and we stick to our skills, we go through our fears and achieve the dreams we never thought possible. I want to be able to support people in their passions, in their hardworking pursuit of happiness. I chose real estate education because I want as many people as possible to achieve financial freedom to be able to live the lives that they truly want. I believe that through real estate investment education I can help countless people overstep the challenges that I had to face before I was able to become financially free.

3. What has contributed to your successful track record in changing the lives of hundreds of investors? Is it merely a novel idea or something else?

I think one of the things that have helped me in my pursuit of success is my growing ability to embrace failure. I have failed many times. Yes, I made money, but when things go really well you can’t learn much because everything went as planned.

Another factor in my success is also in my ability to help other people. That’s a concept that is so powerful that I have been expanding on it myself. I used to be a very self-centered person. Always looking at my agenda and worried about what I can do to benefit myself. And that’s fine, we all have things that we need to attend to, but the most valuable moments I ever experienced were when I truly helped someone else. When I did something that opened someone’s eyes, or when I helped someone flip a house and make their first $60,000. Those are the moments that I treasure. Those are the moments that bring me true happiness. So the reason I have been able to change the lives of all of my investors is that everything I do is specifically designed to help them. I believe that I have failed so many times for a reason. And I believe that the reason is to show others how to find success without having to overcome all of the obstacles that I had to.

I am truly passionate about real estate and the financial freedom that everyone can find in it. And when investors choose me to help them find that freedom, I do everything in my power, provide every tool that they need, and develop systems for every situation they may find themselves in to be able to succeed.

4. What are your goals & long-term vision?

My short-term goal is to help as many people as I possibly can in their pursuit of being financially free. RealSuccess is completely scalable, we’ve created several tools that will help our investors gain larger profits while also minimizing their risks throughout their real estate career.

My long-term vision is to expand my education across America. Right now our company on the LA / California area but since RealSuccess was designed to be scaled up over time we already have plans in place to make this vision a reality. Being able to help entrepreneurs and investors across this great nation would mean the world to me. To know that our company is the reason that hundreds, hopefully, thousands of families will become finically stable for generations to come is such a powerful motivator for me.

Another long-term goal of mine is to be able to open a non-profit and donate money to kids in America. Although I was not born in this country, it has become my home. And I am passionate about helping future generations develop financial literacy and stability from a young age. I want to be able to set them up for success no matter their situation. I truly believe that the efforts of our non-profit will create a butterfly effect around the world. The kids here will develop their skills to their maximum abilities and I know that will have a ripple effect in countries all across the world. Places like Sudan, Liberia, Uganda, South American countries, and so many others.

5. How are your courses different than other websites which are already established?  What makes your courses a preferred choice?

Our education is so powerful for two main reasons. The first is in our tools. We spent years and hundreds of thousands of dollars developing cutting-edge tools to help our investors in their process. Like the deal analyzer which helps with calculating and evaluating each deal analytically before investors submit an offer so they can feel confident in their decisions.

The Deal Analyzer helps people understand cash flow, returns on investments, and maximum property potential. When students and investors use this and other tools that we have designed they will be able to analyze data points on each deal and ultimately make the buying decisions easier and more profitable.

We also have the Repair Estimator. With this tool students and investors will be able to acquire indispensable knowledge on how to budget and correctly estimate materials, labor, and overall repair costs. We created this because being able to estimate the potential construction costs is a very important step in understanding any property’s potential retail value. Using the Repair Estimator will help our students determine a property’s maximum profitability or even just decide if a project is worth investing in.

On top of that, we have created over 30 templates for kitchens and bathrooms that with a click of a button you can download the entire scope of work, then head to Home Depot and have the kitchen delivered in a few days. We have a partnership with Home Depot where we get discounts on our orders as well.

We have another tool called the Profit Generator. This is a marketing tool designed to help our students find undervalued, overlooked properties that can easily be converted into profit. Using this cutting-edge technology will allow them to fill their books with motivated sellers and profitable properties. The Profit Generator is a comprehensive data collection program that combines residential and commercial data. This tool will allow our students to boost production through increased efficiency and fewer missed opportunities.

We also include a system that helps students create and order logos and business cards and even design and create and design a systemized website in 5 minutes.

We have accumulated over 50 ebooks, we have hundreds of legal documents for our students to download, and countless other resources that make our company different from the rest.

6. What are the biggest challenges you’ve faced while starting up?

In real estate you can make money, you can make a lot of money, and sometimes you don’t need very much experience to do it.  On my third flip, I made over $100,000 in 5 months. Imagine if you can scale that and do 10 projects, that’s $1,000,000 in one year.

But, I should note here that even though the profits can be really great, when you’re unaware of all of the potential risks you might unknowingly end up in a financial hole. So I think my biggest challenge throughout my start-up process has been not knowing the pitfalls of real estate.

And that is exactly why I created RealSuccess – to fill that knowledge gap. We all know what we know, and many of us know what we don’t, but it is so hard to learn things that we don’t know we don’t know. RealSuccess was created to teach people what they don’t know they don’t know.

I truly believe that awareness is the foundation of choice and choice is directly correlated with expectations and happiness. So if we can bring awareness to people in real estate investments, then their opportunities for profit can increase dramatically.

7. Any advice you’d like to give to Latin American Entrepreneurs & recently immigrated businessmen who would like to start their business?

For Latin American entrepreneurs and any entrepreneur out there, my suggestion is that you learn the difference between an asset and a liability as quickly as possible. Also always follow your passion, don’t follow shiny things like a car or a house or a fancy trip. If you do what you love, what you are good at, what comes easily to you then you will be fulfilled and happy. And real estate might not be that vehicle and that’s ok. But the beauty of real estate is that it’s always there. You can do flipping, you can do rentals. You can do passive income. Real estate doesn’t have to be the means to an end but it can be your end strategy.

And if you are passionate about real estate, then definitely go all way in. You will find a huge community awaiting you to find out what you can provide to the business.
