Abdul Rashid Salim Salman Khan, better known as Salman Khan, is a flourishing Indian actor, television presenter, producer and philanthropist. He made his debut in movies with Biwi Ho To Aisi and gained nationwide recognition starring in Maine Pyar Kiya. This film garnered Salman the Filmfare Award for the Best Male Debut. He went on to appear on a number of profitable Indian movies, including Saajan, Hum Aapke Hain Koun..!, Karan Arjun, Judwaa, Pyar Kiya To Darna Kya, Biwi No.1, and of course, Hum Saath Saath Hain. Salman is the first child born to Salim Chan, a noticeable Indian screenwriter and actor, best known as one half of the duo Salim-Javed.
